    Bertie Arthur Brownlow

    CLOVIS, N.M. - Bertie Arthur Brownlow, 83, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008.

    Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lance Clemmons officiating. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.
    Mr. Brownlow was born Dec. 24, 1924, to Bertie and Mary Ditto Brownlow in China Springs, Texas. He married Dolly Wall on Aug. 28, 1944, in Clovis.
    Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carla Osborne and Ardyth Elms, both of Clovis; a brother, William B. Brownlow of Clovis; two sisters, Mary Ellen Winkles of Clovis and Anita Ruth Griffin of Kent, Wash.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
    The family suggests memorials be to Building Fund, First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Pile, Clovis, NM 88101.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother Olivia Reno Brownlow; his son: Brent Brownlow; his wife: Gerda Sparks Brownlow; two brothers: Arthur Brownlow and Gary Don Brownlow; and one sister: Anita Griffin.
