    1913, he was a switchman for the railroad and lived at 417 Sherman in E. Waco.
    1916, he was a switchman and lived at 809 S. 9th.
    1920 census, lived in Waco at 1618 Ross Street with wife Elsie B., son Karl (Ed 118, sh.4A, Ln.8), worked for railroad.
    1924, lived with wife Elsie at 618 Ross and was a switchman. At one time may have lived on Old Dallas Road. Worked for railroad.
    Texas Death Record 11283, Frank L. Carter, died at 2525 Homan (Haman?) Ave., Waco, lived there 15 yr., male white married, b.9-14-1890 TX, d.3-7-1926 35y5m23d, acute encephalitis and flu, RR Switchman, Cotton Belt RR, Father Will Carter b.Miss; Mother Martha Allison b.unknown; Informant Mrs. F.L. Carter of Waco, buried Oakwood Cem.
