Nelta Lynn Warrick, 78, went to rejoice with her Lord May 23, 2008, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Lorena. Funeral services and interment will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 26 at the Lorena Cemetery on Lowry Road under the direction of Pecan Grove Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel M. Robbins of Mooreville United Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Warrick was born June 13, 1929, in Lorena, the daughter of the late Eugene and the late Annie (Sapp) Mirick, where she attended Lorena schools. On Feb. 9, 1948, she married the late Jack Scott Warrick in Lorena. After 63 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2001. She devoted her life to her family. She had many titles including Honey, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Nana, Pee Wee and Frank. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her canine companion, "Missy". She was also preceded in death by her brother, J.A.Mirick. Survivors included her sons, Steve Warrick and wife, Kathy of Lorena, and Jeff Warrick and wife Tracy of Allen, Texas; brothers, Bill Mirick and wife Jean, of Hewitt, and Larry Mirick and wife ,Lanette of Lorena; grandchildren Brandy Strebe, Brittany Warrick, Stevie Warrick, Hunter Warrick and Hannah Warrick; great-grandchildren Zachary Strebe and Lane Strebe; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Pallbearers are Bret Mirick, Charles Taylor, Bill Warrick, Jerry Warrick, Mark Warrick, Paul Warrick, Hunter Warrick and Stevie Warrick. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Anna Freeto and Barbara Degrate of Southern Care for the kindness and compassion shown during Mrs.Warrick's illness.
