Sir William Brownlow, 4th Bt. was born on 5 November 1665.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Brownlow, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Freke. He was baptised on 10 November 1665 at Rippingale, Lincolnshire, England.3 He married, firstly, Dorothy Mason, daughter of Sir Richard Mason and Anne Margaret Long.2 He married, secondly, Henrietta (?).2 He died on 6 March 1700/1 at age 35 at St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, London, England.3 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 20 March 1700/1.3 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 16 September 1714.3
Sir William Brownlow, 4th Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Peterborough between 1689 and 1698.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Brownlow, of Humby, co. Lincoln [E., 1641] on 16 July 1697.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bishop's Castle between 1698 and 1700.2

Sir John Brownlow, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 June 1659.3 He was the son of Sir Richard Brownlow, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Freke.2 He was baptised on 6 July 1659 at Rippingale, Lincolnshire, England.1 He married Alice Sherard, daughter of Richard Sherard and Margaret Dewe, on 27 March 1676 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.1 He died on 16 July 1697 at age 38, without surviving male issue.2 He was buried at Belton, Lincolnshire, England.1 His will (dated 29 July 1689) was probated on 2 September 1697.1
Sir John Brownlow, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Brownlow, of Humby, co. Lincoln [E., 1641] on 30 August 1668.2 On 23 November 1679 he inherited the Belton estates of his great-uncle Sir John, 1st and last Baronet.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Grantham from 1689 to 1697.2
