    Bobby Dean Brownlow passed away on February 15, 2013. He was born on December 30, 1931. He fought and served in the Korean War. After working for Graybar Electric for 37 ½ years, Bobby retired. He was a fan of the UT Longhorns and his hobbies included fishing, building, and bird-watching, especially his martins. He was a devoted father and husband who was respected and loved by many. Surviving Bobby is his wife of 59 years Joyce Brownlow; son Darren Brownlow; daughter Terry Brownlow; grandson Cody Brownlow; great-grandson Noah Brownlow; brothers David (Oralia) Brownlow and Calvin (Margaret) Brownlow; sisters-in-law Pam.

    Calvin Eugene Brownlow, 76, of Alamogordo, N.M. died Wednesday morning, Oct. 12, 2016, in his home. Born Oct. 29, 1939, in Waco, Texas, to James Archie Brownlow and Fleda Cockrell. On Dec. 17, 1962, Calvin married his stunning bride, Margaret Ann Lambert at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. A graduate of West High School, Calvin entered the United States Air Force in 1959 and retired in 1979. In 1985, Calvin became a civil servant with the Department of Defense and retired in 2001.

    In 2002, Calvin and Margaret moved to Alamogordo where they knew it would be their forever home. Calvin enjoyed volleyball and was an avid sports fan. His love was his wife and the life they lived. He delighted in his RV'ing and traveling the country. His serenity was a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise and sunset from his porch.

    Survivors include his wife, Margaret of Alamogordo, sister, Joann Chesser of Trinity, Texas, two children: Dale Brownlow (Peggy Snyder) of Midwest City, Okla., and Robert Brownlow (Doreen Moore) of Macomb, Ill.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

    Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers' and two sisters: Bobby Brownlow, David Brownlow, Mourine Rogers, Linda Gibson and his daily coffee companion Otto.

    A Celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at Alamogordo Funeral Home, 2301 First Street, at 2 p.m.
    The burial service will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., at the National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Road, Fort Bliss, Texas.

    Darren was a very devoted son, father and grandfather. Surviving Darren is his mother Mrs. Joyce Brownlow; son Cody Brownlow; grandson Noah Brownlow; sister Terry Brownlow; Aunts and Uncles Pam Miles and Joan (Don) Small; and many cousins and friends. Serving as Active Pallbearers will be family and friends very close to Darren; Bryan Miles, Billy Bishop, Don Small, Michael Kilpatrick, Arthur Hernandez Jr. and Alfredo Fernandez.

    A visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday December 30, 2013 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks in Pflugerville. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday December 31, 2013 at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
