...Sion Andrew was the brother of Sarah Caroline (Boykin) Meneley and was the Uncle of my mother, Anita Beatrice (Meneley) Brickhouse. He was known as Uncle "Pete" - probably a Nickname. When my mother knew the family in the early 1900's they lived in San Antonio, TX and he was employed to operate Horse Drawn Trolleys' or Street Cars. He died prior to my mother's marriage so the year must have been about 1905 or 1906.

Nov 1884 when he and his sister Sarah made deeds concerning the property that they inherited being their mother, Margaret Ann ZUMWALT Boykin's, part of her fathers' estate - Andrew Zumwalt. Perhaps Sion A. was only there temporarily. At any rate his part of the deeds was signed by eh and his wife Malissa in Llano and Sarah and her husband, Charles Meneley signed their part in Gonzales Co., TX and that is where it is filed.
