Miss Perrine Hayes, daughter of Mrs. Leonard Oscar Hayes and the la te Dr. L. O. Hayes, of Freemont (sic), and George W. Brownlow, Jr., were m arried Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the Women's Club, the Rev. M r. Ned Taylor officiating.
A program of music was given by Miss Jessie Futrell, soloist and Mi ss Katherine Sisell, pianist. Miss Futrell sang "I Love You Truly" and du ring the ceremony "Liebestraume" (Liszt) and played softly. Traditional we dding marches were used.
The lounge of the club was decorated with evergreens and candle s. An improvised altar was erected, the white columns being twined with gr eens.
The bride wore a spring print or rose background and a short jack et of rose. Her accessories were brown and she wore a shoulder corsage.
Mrs. Brownlow is a graduate of the Women's College, class of 1937. S he has made her home in Winston-Salem. She has been a laboratory technici an for Dr. J. C. Pass Fearrington.
Mr. Brownlow, a graduate of Reynolds High School is connected with h is father in business. The couple will make their home at 330 Grove Pa rk Avenue for the present.
Only members of the two families and a few close friends were present .
