JOSEPH SAUNDERS & JAMES SAUNDERS & JESSE SAUNDERS, the court ap-pointed JAMES BROWNLOE, guardian.
Pg. 187 - May, 1796
The Court appoints JAMES BROWNLOE, guardian to JOSEPH SAUNDERS, JAMES SAUNDERS & JESSE SAUNDERS, orphans of WILLIAM SAUNDERS, dec'd, to de-fend the ir suit in a petition for dower.
(Note: James Brownlow was married to Joseph, James, and Jesse's older sister Mary)

Jesse Sanders was listed on Chatham Co. 1800 census: pg 186: One male a ge 16-26
Note: There was also a Hardy Saunders in Chatham Co 1800 census on pg. 243 .
1810 Moore Co, NC census, page 597 listed:
Sanders, Jesse: One male under 10, one male 26-45, and one female 26-4 5, no others and no slaves

Jesse was Listed on Moore Co Landowners in 1815:
3 parcels, 3D 260 ac. valued at $360

The following is a partial extract from Deed Book L, page 105, of Chatham Co., NC. Dated: Sept. 15, 1800.
"James Brownlow, son of William Brownlow, dec'd; Willis Dillard and Sarah, his wife; Ambrose Petty and Mary, his wife, all of Chatham County, and Samuel Perviance(?) and Mary, his wife of Cumberland Co., NC to: Bartholomew Lightfoot and Zachariah Harmon, of Chatham Co., NC Lot #30 in the town of Pittsboro, which descended to James Brownlow, Sarah Dillard, Mary Petty, as heirs of Jane Patterson, dec'd wife of James Patterson, dec'd with all houses, etc."
