    David Campbell enters two hundred and fifty acres of land in Franklin county about a mile from the place on which Squire Sturdivant lives and adjacent to the lands on which the Hodges live lying on the north side of Elk river Beginning at a spanish oak standing by the side of an old road landing from Hodges to a farm on the school land (sd. oak has a hole in it & is marked W. just above sd. hole running from thence west 200 poles leaving a small field not now in cultivation to the right & including said field thence north 200 poles thence east and south for compliment. July 29th, 1824.
