The Burnet Bulletin, March 14, 1907...In Memoriam.
Mrs. E. J. Clements was born in Wayne County, Tennessee, on November 6th, 1846; was married May 24, 1868; moved to Texas about the year 1872; and came to Burnet County in 1879, where she lived up to the day of her death, February 27, 1907. She was a member of the Baptist Church and had borne her husband twelve children, all living but two.

The pathetic passage in this good Christian woman's life was that for the last ten years she was an invalid. The ablest medical talent of the country had sought a solution and remedy for her trouble but in vain.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. J. Allen, pastor of the Methodist Church and the body laid away at the family burying ground, at Bethel, in the presence of a large concourse of friends and neighbors. A Friend
