    BROWNLOW - George,W., Jr., of Daytona Beach Shores, FL died there at his h ome Saturday afternoon September 27, 1997. Mr. Brownlow was born in Anders on, SC, Nov. 11, 1917, the son of George Withers and Alice King Brownlo w, Sr. He was a long time resident of Winston-Salem, NC. He was a gradua te of R.J. Reynolds High School, an eagle scout, a member of Old Town Coun try Club and was active in the Chamber of Commerce of W-S. Mr. Brownlow he ld an honorary life membership in the Carolina PGA, and was the winn er of many state and local golf tournaments. He was employed by Brownlo w, Inc. of W-S until 1954, when he relocated to south Florida and found ed Tropical Plumbing Supply Co. He was married to the late Perrine Hayes B rownlow for 49 years who died in 1989. Funeral Services will be held at Vo gler's Reynolda Chapel Wednesday at 11:00 followed by interment in Forsy th Memorial Park, services will be conducted by his brother Dr. Harmon Bro wnlow. Surviving are one daughter, Dr. Betty H. Brownlow of Greensboro, N C; three sons George Brownlow III, Fort Mills, SC, Joseph Sandy Brownl ow of Stuart, FL and R. Randy Brownlow of Greensboro, NC; 14 grandchildre n; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Willie Reavis of WinstonSal em and Ruth Kilby of Lake Norman, NC; one brother, Dr. Harmon Brownl ow of Orlando, FL. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 -9 at Vogler's Reynolda Chapel.

    Miss Perrine Hayes, daughter of Mrs. Leonard Oscar Hayes and the la te Dr. L. O. Hayes, of Freemont (sic), and George W. Brownlow, Jr., were m arried Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the Women's Club, the Rev. M r. Ned Taylor officiating.
    A program of music was given by Miss Jessie Futrell, soloist and Mi ss Katherine Sisell, pianist. Miss Futrell sang "I Love You Truly" and du ring the ceremony "Liebestraume" (Liszt) and played softly. Traditional we dding marches were used.
    The lounge of the club was decorated with evergreens and candle s. An improvised altar was erected, the white columns being twined with gr eens.
    The bride wore a spring print or rose background and a short jack et of rose. Her accessories were brown and she wore a shoulder corsage.
    Mrs. Brownlow is a graduate of the Women's College, class of 1937. S he has made her home in Winston-Salem. She has been a laboratory technici an for Dr. J. C. Pass Fearrington.
    Mr. Brownlow, a graduate of Reynolds High School is connected with h is father in business. The couple will make their home at 330 Grove Pa rk Avenue for the present.
    Only members of the two families and a few close friends were present .
