2. | Newton Christopher Naylor was born in 1828 (son of Roberet H Naylor and Nancy Baker). Notes: Newton C. Naylor was the son of Robert H. and Nancy (Baker) Naylor. He was born about 1828, most likely in Gwinnett County, Georgia, where his father was enumerated on the 1830 census. By 1834 the family was living in Forsyth County, Georgia, when they appear there on a state census. Newton is listed as age 21, living in his father's household, on the 1850 census. Since his first child was born about 1852 it is believed that he married Sarah Williams in 1850/51, though a marriage record has not been located. He does appear as the head of a household paying taxes in Forsyth County in 1853. Newton married Sarah Williams about 1850. Sarah was born in 1835; died in 1916. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart] |
